We spent Memorial Day weekend 2010 with our horses at the North East Equine Expo held at Belmont Park. We enjoyed lots of Sunshine and a great response to our Blarney Stone Acres Gypsy Cobs including a feature on the TV show Talkin' Horses. BSA brought three horses ages 1-3 and they all showed like much older show veterans. Nothing bothered them and we think the cobs had as much fun as the guests of Belmont Park. Our three-year-old BSA Tracey, aka "Spencer", did the trail classes. Of course nothing spooked him as he easily cantered over poles and walked through some scary streamers and intricate obstacles.
Our one-year-old was used in a clinic by Sonny Garguilo and easliy came into "join-up" wih Sonny, while also getting some much needed exercise. Our two-year-old also joined up and in 45 minutes was easily saddled and carrying a rider! With our cobs' temperaments Sonny's job was easy this weekend. Sonny is a fabulous clinician as well as a great supporter of the gypsy!
