Anne & Fiona in ShowFiona has been shown three times. The second time she tied for fifth competing against older, more show-experience horses. At this show she took two thirds, scoring in the low 60s with an overall score of 8! |

Kelsey Riding at the Sussex FairMy 10-year-old daughter is here shown riding a 2-year-old mare named Fiona, just under saddle, at the August 2003 Sussex County Farm & Horse Show in New Jersey (click on the thumbnail for larger images). The Gypsy Vanner horses did a fine job, despite all the new stimuli — which says a lot about the temperament of the breed. We received a fantastic response from the people, who were drawn to our Gypsy Vanner horses on the fairground precisely because of their calmness and beauty. We were able to show a number of our Gypsy Vanner horses at the 2003 Sussex County Farm & Horse Show/New Jersey State Fair, which was held Friday, August 1 to Sunday, August 10, at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, New Jersey.
