[SOLD]
Sired by Gypsy Gold's Cushti Bok out of Tink, this purebred black and white Gypsy colt was born 5/20/03. He is big-boned and very tall, with straight legs, round body, and upright neck. In Irish folklore, Merrows are water faeries believed to be very ugly, but in fact they are quite beautiful. They are attracted to mortals and easily bond with them. This incredibly sweet-tempered and friendly colt is a perfect namesake for such magical creatures. In 2004 this horse was donated to the Shirecrest Foundation, which runs a literacy program.

Merrow is turning out to be quite the handsome boy. He is the epitome of beauty and movement and is enjoying his role of equine educator for Lash's Lessons™ at Shirecrest Equine Education Center, Inc. in Kentucky. We at Blarney Stone Acres support the educational mission of Lash's Lessons and Shirecrest.

We have been able to join Lash's Lessons at two Equine Affairs events in 2005. The response has been phenomenal, and a great time was had by all.

gypsy vanner horses-Pan

Pan

[SOLD]
Tink's new colt out of Valour, named Pan, was born in August 2004. He is steadfast, just like his mother, and has a beautiful face and some incredible feathering covering his front feet, starting at the knee and curling out. (Most gypsy foals are born pretty fuzzy, and it usually takes a couple of weeks for the feathering to grow in.) Pan is the friendliest and most curious horse ever! It's hard to take a picture of him — he won't let you get far enough away to photograph him. He loves to lie in the sun. And Like all good Gypsy horses, he loves to play and to have his butt scratched.
