Always in the Ribbons!
National Gypsy Horse Show and Faire Association presented the National Gypsy Horse Show in Lexington, Kentucky October 16-18, 2009. Blarney Stone Acres horses placed in the ribbons in every class, across all disciplines, under both youth and open riders. High lights included dominating in the performance classes, from cones driving to dressage, Blarney Stone Acres horses garnered blue ribbons. In addition, owner Lise McNamara made her showing debut with Spencer for the first time in gypsy competition. After four weeks of training, Spencer took great care of his rider, a trait well-bred gypsy horses are known. We enjoyed seeing both familiar faces and making new friends during the event.
The Idle Time Charity concert was Friday night and the McNamaras enjoyed meeting and hosting Chris Young, Jennifer Hanson, Michael Jordan, Brooke White and Rickey Minor before and after the benefit concert. What a wonderful group of artists who joined together to support the mission of Shirecrest and Lash's Lessons®, a program the McNamara’s have long supported! The Blarney Stone Acres gang is looking forward to the 2010 Nationals.
