Meet the CEO and Creator of Lash's Lessons™

Jacki L. Clark is the creator of Lash's Lessons™. She is also Executive Director and Co-Founder of Shirecrest Equine Education Center, Inc. Jacki holds a B.S. and M.S. in Elementary Education, and has completed the certification requirements for School Administration, and is a lifetime certified elementary teacher. She taught third, fourth, and kindergarten classrooms for 10 years in the Pittsburg, KS, public school system. She has extensive experience as a substance abuse prevention consultant for over 104 Kansas school districts and training more than 3,000 teachers in prevention education.

Jacki served as a youth development specialist and faculty member at Kansas State University. She is a recognized public speaker and business management training consultant. She has trained employees and management representatives for major corporations such as Leggett & Platt, Sunbeam, and Laz-y-Boy in areas of leadership development, teambuilding, anger management, and other vital topics.

Jacki has been a featured workshop presenter for the American Society of Training and Development, the National Association of Home Economics Teachers, and the National Rural School Conference. She recently was featured as a presenter at Equine Affaire, one of the largest equine tradeshows in the nation.

Jacki loves being at home in the Friendly Acres of Shirecrest, where she enjoys Lash, Calypso, Heavenly Dancer, and the many opportunities to teach Lash's Lessons™. She is an avid horsewoman and raises and shows champion Labrador retrievers.

Meet Lash™ and Calypso's Trainer

Stacy Foncannon is the program director for all equestrian activities at Shirecrest Equine Education Center, Inc. Stacy holds a B.A. degree in Communications/History from Kansas State University. She is co-founder of Shirecrest Equine Education Center, Inc. Stacy has been riding and showing horses since the age of three. She has directed equestrian programs for camps in New Jersey, Kansas, and Kentucky. Her horsemanship programs were acclaimed as having the best safety record in the history of the individual camps.

She has developed several model training programs, one of which assists at-risk youth in developing healthy life skills while being partnered with rescued race horses. Her work in broadcast media provides a strong foundation of interpersonal communication in her training programs. Stacy currently directs horsemanship lessons and activities to children as well as adults and has authored several advice-based articles published for equestrian coaches and trainers. Shirecrest offers equine-based experiences to both disabled and able-bodied individuals.

Stacy a certified equestrian fitness trainer. She holds membership in the United States Dressage Federation, American Quarter Horse Association, USAE, and the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society. She was featured as a presenter at Equine Affaire, one of America's largest equine trade shows.
